I know, I know. Halloween comes first. But, seriously, if you know me at all, you know that Christmas is my all-time favorite holiday. I watch Christmas movies pretty much all year. And if I could, I'd be burning holiday scented candles in my house right now!
So, thinking ahead to the holidays...what are some things I'm hoping for this Christmas season? I hope I can get my newest book released in time. I am looking forward to choreographing Elf the Musical with Theatreworks...Live! And I am also hoping to see tons of familiar faces at the Authors and Artists event I attend every year at the Bel Air Armory in Bel Air, MD. It is on December 3rd this year, and goes from 10-3 I believe. It's such a wonderful holiday event, and it supports local authors and artists of every kind! You can buy original paintings, artwork, and books from people in the area and even have them gift-wrapped for Christmas! It's a great event. I met Amelia Grace there a few years ago! So without this event, she would never have become my illustrator. So, trust me, I owe this event a lot! Put it on your calendar today, and come have some holiday fun with me. The cast of Elf will be performing at 10 am. There will be lots of music, food, and hot chocolate. So you don't want to miss out! See you there!
