Well, we did it. The holidays are over. Boo. I am sad.
Sorry that it's been a while since I last blogged. Things have been crazy.
Releasing my new book was such a wonderful experience. Truly. It completely sold out during the first weekend events I took copies to. I am pretty excited to hear what you all think of it, so make sure you comment on this post or email me and let me know your thoughts! Partridge and a Pear Tree was such a fun project, and I am very proud of it. It was kind of a whirlwind. I wrote the main chunk of it within about two months, and my illustrator was scrambling to keep up with my crazy demands. But she did some great work, don't ya think? I am so proud of the product we released. The story, the characters, and the plot were so much fun to create. I love writing my Christmas books, but I am particularly proud of this one.
As far as what I am working on now...I dove back into a project that I would love to finish by the spring. It's a Dog's Life is a fun book that will show you what it would really be like to live a dog's life. Even though we think they just lay around all day and sometimes we wish we were them, there is so much more to their life...and to ours! Keep up to date on all things It's a Dog's Life on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/loganandbailey/ Go to the page, give it a like, and join in the fun. I also have started a few other projects. And even though I know I need to get going on Book Five in The Wonky Witch series, I feel like I need to get at least one other project done first. I always have a bazillion ideas floating around in my head. I even started a new story on my phone last night!
Hope you all had an amazing holiday season! I am going to go sit by my Christmas tree (I keep mine up until February!), have some coffee in a holiday mug, and get some work done. I refuse to let the holidays go. And that's that! :)
